Calling all Closets: It’s Time for a Spring Clean!

We know we’ve already mentioned this, but all the amazing fashion at Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway gave us a serious case of wardrobe envy. From gorgeous printed tops to colorful denim, neon everywhere and distressed skinny denim, we saw something we coveted just about every minute! So we’ve been eyeing all the looks, including the 12 amazing cotton outfits People StyleWatch put together, inspired by America’s style, for some inspiration for our own wardrobe.

But before we go into a buying frenzy, we figured it’s time for a little spring cleaning. We can’t stress enough how important an organized closet looks – and feels! Especially if you’re living in a small space, having a clean and orderly closet that works for you is key. And if you’re coveting some of the amazing spring trends that we’ve seen on the runways, consider cleaning out your winter wardrobe first. Our friends over at WhoWhatWear talked to the experts and came up with a great tip list for organizing item by item.

What are your tips for making your closet work for you? How do you transition your wardrobe space from season to season?

I like to color coordinate and seperate clothes by jeans, skirts, sweaters, etc. One side of the closet is fall winter/ the other side spring summer. Each season I clean out – donate items I have not worn in at least two months!! Love a clean closet! Speaking of – I better go get busy it on it! lol
